Most people who move to Texas tend to stay there, and most people who've lived in Texas there whole life also stick around. Texas is beautiful, gorgeous and cheap. While Texas can't technically secede, it can be split up into five states because it's so large. Perhaps the reason people don't move out of Texas is because they have 5 "states" to choose from! San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, and Austin are fantastic cities(yes I know I only gave 4). You can easily move and go to another state city where you can basically start a new life, and it's just a long car ride away! That's one drawback, everything is really far from one another. However one could argue that it is kind of the best of both worlds, where there is a city, but tons of open air space and beautiful landscapes, so in case you're in the mood to get away from it all, you could just get a house away from the city for the weekend.
